THE WORK
Supported by a Verdant Grant, made possible by the Andy Warhol Foundation, Artist Didimos J. Pulikkotti constructed a site-specific installation entertwining mosquito netting, family memories, a former bedroom held together by tiny safety-pins - an exhibit that spoke of older spaces recollected; of mandatory connections sometimes found anew in other spaces.

ARTIST'S BIO
" I grew up in Thrissur, Kerala India. I first starting taking pictures because i wanted to spend time in my neighbors photo lab. That was where I learned chemistry for the first time, and where my interest in photography began.' After completing my masters degree, I taught chemistry in schools across India- from Uttar Pradesh to Jammu in Kashmir. During that time, I traveled widely with my camera, observing people and places through the eyes of both a teacher and a photographer. My stories are always personal. Instead of chasing big stories I try to notice what is happening around me. Everything feels connected to me, and i feel a responsibitiy to tell these stories."
